Classroom Videos

  I have decided to post videos of activities taking place in my classroom. The videos posted below are videos from the 2008-2009 school year. Click on the image to view the videos. Please be aware that these videos will come up in Microsoft Media Player. They may take a few seconds to buffer, and the video may pause in the middle while it is buffering. I am working on making the videos play better, but I am learning as I go. As I become better at this, hopefully the videos will be much better.

   During the 2009-2010 school year, be sure to check back for more classroom videos. I am hoping to have the kids develop their own webcasts!  

Shoe Box Alarm	This is a pretty cool alarm. He built this alarm as extra credit in reading after reading Dear Mr. Henshaw in his reading group. The kids really got a kick out of his project.

Bog Person	This is a ten minute video that was one of the stations on our France Park Conservation Day Field Trip. This is a wonderful speaker, and the students are learning about different types of wetlands. I love when he describes a bog, and the students have a very good time with this presentation.
