Math

  In Fifth Grade, students will be studying many different concepts in math this year. Currently we are using the Saxon Math Series. The high math group will be working on 6th grade math using the book McDougal Littell Middle School Math. I am the teacher for the 6th grade math class this school year. If any parent has questions regarding this series, please let me know

  We will be using the Promethean Board in our math class. The program that goes with the Promethean Board is called ActivInspire. This is a free download from Promethean Planet. I encourage you to download this program. You will then be able to open the flipcharts I create for our math class. This will help students who are absent or who want to review concepts we are learning in class. You will have to register with Promethean Planet, but it is free.
