ISTEP!

  ISTEP testing in 5th grade will begin on Tuesday, March 6th. We have been preparing for ISTEP all year long! Students will be taking the Applied Skills portion of the ISTEP this round. In May, the students will be taking the multiple choice part of ISTEP on the computer.

  Students need to be sure to get a good night's rest and eat a nutritious breakfast each morning. We will begin testing at 8:30 each morning. Students need to make sure they are on time to class. Once the door is closed for testing, no one will be allowed to enter the room. Students will be required to sit in the office until testing is over. They will miss class instructional time to make up any portion of ISTEP they miss. If we have a two hour delay, we will begin testing at 1:00.

  If you have any questions about ISTEP, please contact the office. I will be unable to share any details of ISTEP with parents. The office will be able to answer any questions you may have concerning the ISTEP testing.

End of 3rd Nine Weeks

  Friday, March 9th will be the last day of the 3rd Nine Weeks. Students will need to make sure all work is turned in by Friday. No work will be accepted after this day. Report cards will be sent home on March 15th. Grades on this report card will consist of grades from Mr. Lundy and myself. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Back from Maternity Leave!

  In November, my husband and I welcomed twins into our family. We had a boy and girl, and they are both doing very well. I would like to thank Mr. Lundy for taking over my classroom. I will be back in the classroom on Monday, February 13th. I will be working on updating our classroom website, but please be patient as I have newborns at home.
